Last night, lordaerith and I went to see LawrenceLessig give a talk on campus. He talked about the "Read-Only" vs. "Read-Write" culture of the internet and, of course, copyright and the Creative Commons license. It was a very interesting and inspiring talk. He is a very intelligent and animated lecturer, with just the right amount of humor and seriousness blended together. I'm very glad that I went. I had to read part of Code for class, and while I didn't agree with everything he said in the book, it was still a very interesting read. I have a feeling that it felt off because it was outdated. It makes me curious to read Code 2.0 and Free Culture when I have time.
