state of 'Thene update and a dream

I'm doing much better now. Still feeling sick (it's really starting to feel like a sickness instead of a weird lung thing) and still having the occasional breathing problems, but it's soooo much better than Monday. I was able to go to work and to class yesterday with almost no problems. I also got almost 12 hours of sleep last night. I think I really needed it. I go back to the dr. tomorrow for a follow-up.

Although lordaerith let me sleep in this morning, he did wake me up so I could take my "take every 12 hours" medicine (how sweet of him!). I was having a really weird dream at the time which led me to say something like, "I have to get the duck out of the house" when waking up.

It started with me waking up in my bed. Except it wasn't this apartment. It was laid out like this apartment, but there was a third bedroom next to our bedroom and daobear and artemis42 were living there. Anyway, (I'm a little fuzzy on the details here) I got up and went into the study and Artemis was in there huddled against the back corner with the cats because a duck-swan (I'm not sure if it was one or the other or some kind of hybrid) had gotten into our apartment and she had lured it into the study and now she couldn't leave. I think she brought it in there because everyone else was sleeping when it got in and she didn't want it to wake them up. Also, there were now sounds of a video game (I think she said Atari) coming from Daobear's room and either she couldn't sleep cause of the sounds or didn't want the duck-swan going in there. So it was up to me to get it out of the door. I tried bread, but Artemis said that it didn't like bread, but it liked lettuce, which is how she got it in the study in the first place. I think at this point the duck-swan also said something about not liking bread, but I wasn't sure. Anyway, I was in the process of laying down a trail of lettuce to the door for the duck-swan when Aerith woke me up.
